About me

Let's see, I'll be 29 in 4 days, I work as an A/V nerd for a company in MA (and yes, it is as fascinating as it sounds), I play the sax, I love the Red Sox and the Patriots and all thngs music (ok, maybe not all, like "Barbie Girl" for instance. Technically it is a song, which makes it music, but I hate it so, yeah, you get the point). At first I did not understand the attraction to listal, but its growing on me. Seems like it could be addicting...

Awwww

I think this is one of the few romantic comedies that guys admit to liking. Every guy I know who watched it had a mysterious case of "allergies" at the end. That's a slam dunk right there ladies:)

Enjoyable

Posted : 17 years, 6 months ago on 30 April 2007 01:00 (A review of Shaun of the Dead)

Ok, so I'll admit this was not a movie I would've chosen to watch on my own, my boyfriend kept insisting we watch it and so finally I caved, and guess what, I liked it. Guess I should listen to him more often.

It was funny and the love story (yeah, a love story, I didn't believe my boyfriend when he said that either. I thought he was just trying to play into the whole "girls will watch anything with a romantic storyline" stereotype), was sweet. Plus, its british, how can you go wrong with british humour and zombies?

Seeriously good

Posted : 17 years, 6 months ago on 30 April 2007 12:55 (A review of The Departed (2006))

Holy cow there are a lot of good actors in this movie, all speaking with a thick Boston accent. That's why you should see it, seeriously. No, but seriously, a great movie. Definitely tense, and I think DiCaprio was great (and no, I didn't/don't have posters of him plastered all over my wall). His situation was tense and I felt like I needed to take a Xanax for him to keep his head from exploding from the stress of being an undercover cop in the mob while trying not to be uncovered by the mob guy who is undercover as a cop. You will enjoy this movie, trust me. Seeeriously. Nomahhhh. Wicked. Ok, I'll stop now.
